Artwork story
Wirnpa Jukurrpa (Lightning Dreaming) is connected to Kiwirkurra, in the Gibson Desert's tali (sandhill) country, south-west of Lake McKay.
Concentric circles mark the area's rock holes, while semicircles represent the surrounding sandhills. Wavy horizontal lines depict lightning. With its arrival, Tjikaluk (water birds) emerge to wade along the water's edge.
