Gracie Morton Pwerle is a senior Alyawarr artist hailing from the Utopia region, Northern Territory. She is the daughter of renowned Utopian artist Myrtle Petyarre and the sister of celebrated artists Gloria and Kathleen Petyarre.
Gracie is a a senior traditional custodian for both the Altyerre (Dreaming) and Amwekety (Bush Plum) Dreamings, Gracie's artworks often depict the Bush Plum Dreaming, capturing the seasonal changes and the walking tracks of women collecting bush fruit. These themes are central to her cultural heritage and artistic practice.
