Refund policy

If you need help with a return, exchange or an issue with your order, please email sales@farquhar.art. Include your order number or proof of purchase so our gallery team can assist.

Change-of-mind returns

For purchases within Australia, you can request a return within 30 days of receiving your item. Items must be returned in the same condition as received, with a receipt or proof of purchase.

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will issue a store credit. We do not offer cash refunds for change-of-mind returns.

Please contact our gallery before sending an item back so we can help arrange your return.

Exchanges

You can use your store credit towards another artwork or item. If your new selection costs more, you will need to pay the difference. If it costs less, the remaining balance will be provided as store credit.

Damaged, faulty or incorrect items

Please inspect your order on arrival. If an item is damaged, faulty or incorrect, email sales@farquhar.art promptly with your order details, a description of the issue and photographs.

We will assess the issue and arrange the appropriate repair, replacement or refund. For a major failure under Australian Consumer Law, you may choose a refund or replacement.

Return shipping

You are responsible for return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns and exchanges. Art by Farquhar covers return shipping costs for faulty or damaged items. Please contact us to discuss arrangements before returning your item.

Gifts and gift cards

Gifts may be returned for store credit under our 30-day change-of-mind policy, with a gift receipt. If you are buying a gift, please ask our team for a gift receipt.

Gift cards cannot be returned for change of mind or redeemed for cash, except where required by law.

Caring for your artwork

Keep your artwork away from direct sunlight and water to help protect it from fading and damage.

For cleaning and care advice specific to your artwork, please contact our gallery before using water or cleaning products.

Your consumer rights

Our returns policy operates in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in this policy excludes or limits consumer guarantees or any remedy you are entitled to by law.
