Delvine Pitjara

Delvine Pitjara paints finely detailed black and white interpretations of the My Country story. Her paintings map the Country she is connected to as seen from above, with interlocking lines, small marks and subtle shifts in tone showing sandhills, watercourses, campsites and areas of ceremony. The restrained palette brings out the structure of the design and the rhythm of Country beneath it. She is the sister of Stephen Pitjara and Anna Pitjara.
