Artwork story
Seven Sisters Dreaming tells of seven Napaltjarri women pursued across the desert by a Jakamarra man, Jilbi, who wanted them. Fleeing toward Uluru, the sisters turned themselves into seven fires and, with the spirits' help, rose into the sky to become the stars now known as the Pleiades. The man became a star too and still chases them across the sky.
