We are captivated by the stunning colours in Janice Stanley's latest Salt Lake, (Pantu in Pitjantjatjara) paintings. Situated near Mt Connor (Atilla) near the Northern Territory border. Her ability to bring the natural beauty of the APY Lands to life is truly unmatched. These beautiful salt lakes from a bird’s-eye view, capturing their essence in a unique and contemporary style.

Her works have a way of drawing viewers into the vast, shimmering landscapes she depicts. Her unique interpretations of Pantu are a testament to her deep connection with the land and her extraordinary talent. According to this ancestral tale, the Seven Sisters journeyed across the land, their movements shaping the landforms in their wake, including the shimmering salt lakes depicted in Janice's work.

It is always such a joy to have Janice in our gallery, she even spent some time finishing a few of her paintings in our gallery. Janice even created a breath-taking masterpiece measuring 161cm x 164cm. One of the largest and most striking pieces we’ve ever received from her. This stunning painting would make an incredible feature piece in any living space, drawing attention with its vibrant yellows, blues and oranges.
