The Australian Native Budgerigar is a symbol of her family and a Dreaming she explores through her paintings. Julieanne carefully uses her brilliant mind to create compositions on her canvas, carefully selecting each colour and elements of her story. The inclusion of the Bush Tuckers into the Budgerigar Dreaming only makes the piece all more exciting and interesting. The round dotting the Budgerigar nesting's which are painted in many different colours and tones.

Recently she has been painting Autumn colours. The mixture of red, orange, warm yellow, cream, maroon, light blue and different shades of peaches and pinks. The Budgerigar Dreaming and Bush Tucker Story is not the only Dreaming she paints. Sand Dunes (Tali) is also a story passed down in her family.

There are a few different ways in which Julieanne paints her Sand Dunes (Tali) Dreaming story. Learning from her mother Maureen Hudson Nampijinpa its no wonder these works of art are incredible. Her sister Gwenda Turner Nungurrayi also paints similar style of the story. Wavey lines contrasted with carefully placed dotting which show the direction of the Sand Dunes. Usually with limited colour palates which she paints in all type of colours from yellow, grey, white to blues and purples. Her son Farron Furber Jampitjinpa also paints the story.

We continue to work with the family of incredible talented artists. Julieanne's family is well known for their incredible use of colour, choice of composition and unique pieces of work. All which can be purchased at our Edwardstown or Glenelg gallery. Her collection can be found here as well as her catalogue here
