Bush Medicine Leaves

Bush medicine paintings reflect long held knowledge of plants used for healing, wellbeing, and everyday life. Through rhythm, repetition, and shifts in colour, artists map their understanding of Country and the plants that sustain it, drawing on knowledge passed through family and community.

This curated collection brings together bush medicine paintings selected from across individual artists’ ranges, offering a considered view of how this theme is expressed through different hands and regions.
