"Grandmother's Country"
Original painting by Michelle Possum Nungurrayi (Mt. Allan, N.T). Michelle is daughter to Emily Nakamarra Possum and Clifford Possum Tjapaltjarri, who is considered to be one of the most collected and renowned Australian Aboriginal artists.
Michelles paintings illustrated stories from her home country, Yuelamu in Mt Allan. They are aerial views of the landscapes and include important sites within her community.
Comes with certificate of Authenticity.
70cm x 103cm
Only has 3cm black border around outside. Will need to be stretched on a thin timber frame or gallery wrapped.
