Mina-Mina is situated on the edge of Lake Mackaye On the N.T and W.A border. Mina-Mina is known for its sand-dunes Ngalyirpi (Snake and Vines) Jinti-Parnta (Mush Mushrooms) Desert Oak Trees and Muulji which has been there from the dreamtime and it still there at Mina-Mina. Its a place of digging sticks rose from the ground. Mina-Mina is a place where a group of women lived there and they travelled east in search of new places, but they got homesick so they dived under grounded and travelled back back to Mina-Mina. The custodians for Mina-Mina are Napanangka, Napangardi, Japanangka and Japangardi.
